Our theme for the 2018 conference:

Zoom In / Zoom Out: Music Careers and Context

Sunny Los Angeles at the Colburn School was the location for two days of workshops, discussions, and networking. This year we focused on perspective: on tools to help us zero in on what matters most. It's both a focus on managing nuts-and-bolts skills and seeing these in the larger context of our changing institutions and industry. We used used "systems thinking" to help us better understand the mindsets of students, colleagues, collaborators, administrators, and employers.

Participants identidied leverage points you can use to support career development and entrepreneurship in music back at in their home context.
